Karen Gonzalez is the Administrative Assistant at the New Jersey Institute for Social Justice.
Prior to transitioning into administration, she spent seven years at a Montessori school, where she developed individualized learning plans, facilitated workshops, and supported both online and in-person instruction. During her tenure, Karen successfully managed classroom operations, coordinated staff schedules, and oversaw instructional support teams, strengthening her skills in leadership, planning, and team collaboration.
Karen is nationally certified in Adult and Child CPR & AED, demonstrating her commitment to safety, preparedness, and responsibility in professional settings.
Throughout her career, Karen has demonstrated exceptional organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. She is passionate about building efficient systems, supporting team success, and creating smooth day-to-day operations. Karen brings a collaborative mindset, proven management experience, and a commitment to excellence to every environment she joins.
